But... Why play Greff?

Greff is a powerful and formidable opponent in Epic Roll: Kingdom in Peril. His character die is unique in the game, as it has the highest chance for a critical hit. This can be a huge advantage in battles, as a critical hit does double damage to monsters and can often mean the difference between victory and defeat. However, Greff's die also has the greatest chance for missing the enemy during combat. This means that players who choose to play as Greff will need to be careful and strategic in their gameplay, relying on their abilities and the cards in their hand to protect themselves and take down their foes.

One of Greff's key abilities is Arcane Knowledge, which allows him to have up to 4 cards in his hand, rather than the usual maximum of 3. This can be a huge advantage, as it gives Greff more opportunities to use Focused Effects, powerful combinations of cards that can turn the tide of battle in his favor. Players will need to carefully choose which cards to keep and which to use in order to make the most of this ability.

Greff also has two additional abilities: Force Field and Melt Face. Force Field is a level 2 ability that allows Greff to block all incoming damage from monsters for one roll, by rolling a star on the power die. This can be a lifesaver in a tough battle, and can give Greff the chance to get the upper hand. Melt Face, on the other hand, is an activated ability (once per turn) which allows Greff to deal 1 point of damage to an opponent on their turn by activating his character card and rolling a star on the power die. This can be a great way to finish off an opponent who is already low on health, or to disrupt an opponent's strategy.

Overall, players who enjoy taking risks and relying on their abilities will enjoy playing as Greff. His high damage potential and ability to disrupt opponents make him a formidable force on the battlefield, but his lack of defense means that players will need to be careful and strategic in their gameplay.
